Support for anxiety, depression and emotional wellbeing.
Evidence-based psychology, delivered with care. At Tiba Psychology, we provide Telehealth assessment and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and other emotional or psychological difficulties.
ADHD assessments, therapy, and support.
ADHD in adults is not just “trouble focusing.” It affects attention, executive functioning, impulse control, activity levels, and emotional regulation — and often shows up as half-finished projects, time-blindness, disorganisation, emotional reactivity, and a lifetime of feeling like you should be doing better. Many adults are not diagnosed until later in life, often after recognising longstanding patterns that have affected work, study, relationships, or everyday functioning.
ADHD assessments
We provide comprehensive ADHD assessments via secure Telehealth. The process is individualised and may include a comprehensive clinical interview, a review of current symptoms and functional difficulties, developmental, educational and occupational history, standardised measures including relevant Conners assessment tools, questionnaires completed by partners or other informants where appropriate, a feedback session to discuss findings, and a written report where included in the agreed service. Standardised questionnaires contribute valuable information but do not determine the outcome on their own — findings are considered alongside the clinical interview, developmental history, and functional impairment.
ADHD therapy
Therapy can help whether you have an existing diagnosis, are currently undergoing assessment, or experience executive-functioning difficulties in daily life. Treatment is tailored to your goals and may include:
- Psychoeducation — understanding how ADHD affects attention, motivation, and emotional regulation, to reduce self-blame
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) — practical strategies for procrastination, planning, organisation, and task completion
- Executive-functioning strategies — planning and prioritising, time management, routines, breaking tasks down, and managing distractions
- Mindfulness — improving attention, awareness of distractions, and the ability to pause before responding impulsively
What to expect
- A conversation about how ADHD actually shows up for you — not a generic checklist
- Clarity on whether assessment, therapy, or both are appropriate
- Concrete strategies for the areas causing the most friction
- Permission to work with your brain rather than against it
When to seek support
An assessment or therapy may help if you experience ongoing difficulties with attention, organisation and time management, forgetfulness, completing tasks, emotional regulation, impulsivity, or academic and workplace performance. An assessment can provide a clearer understanding of your strengths and challenges and the treatment options available to you.
