Support for anxiety, depression and emotional wellbeing.

Evidence-based psychology, delivered with care. At Tiba Psychology, we provide Telehealth assessment and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and other emotional or psychological difficulties.

Telehealth psychology, Australia-wide.

Telehealth appointments allow you to access psychological support from the comfort of your own home or another private location. Sessions are conducted through Zanda Health using a secure video link sent before your appointment. Telehealth works well for almost all of what we do — anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and relationship work.

What do I need?

You can join using a mobile phone, tablet or computer with:

  • A camera and microphone
  • A reliable internet connection
  • A quiet, private space

Headphones may also help protect your privacy.

Is telehealth effective?

For many people, Telehealth can be an effective and convenient alternative to face-to-face therapy. Research has shown it can be as effective as in-person sessions for many mental health concerns. Your psychologist will discuss whether online appointments are suitable for your individual needs.

Are sessions private?

Zanda Health uses encryption and security measures to help protect your personal information and video consultations. As with any online service, complete security cannot be guaranteed. Using a private location, a trusted device and a secure internet connection can help protect your confidentiality.

Can I attend from anywhere?

You can generally attend from anywhere in Australia, provided you are in a safe and private location. At the beginning of your appointment, you may be asked to confirm your current location in case emergency assistance is required. Please contact the practice before booking if you will be located outside Australia.

Are Medicare rebates available?

Eligible Telehealth appointments may attract a Medicare rebate when you have a valid referral, such as a Mental Health Care Plan from your GP. An out-of-pocket fee may still apply. See Fees & Rebates for the current rates, or contact the practice if you are unsure about your eligibility or referral.

How long are appointments?

Standard appointments are approximately 50 minutes.
