Support for anxiety, depression and emotional wellbeing.
Evidence-based psychology, delivered with care. At Tiba Psychology, we provide Telehealth assessment and therapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and other emotional or psychological difficulties.
Comprehensive psychological assessments.
Sometimes the most useful first step is a clear picture. A comprehensive psychological assessment provides an understanding of your emotional, behavioural, cognitive, and psychological functioning — clarifying what’s going on, confirming or ruling out a diagnosis, and giving you and your treating team a shared starting point.
We combine clinical interviews with standardised measures to answer specific referral questions and guide treatment planning. Every assessment is tailored to your presenting concerns, history, and goals.
When an assessment may help
- Clarify or explore a diagnosis
- Better understand emotional or behavioural difficulties
- Inform treatment planning
- Identify strengths and areas requiring support
- Explore personality functioning and coping styles
- Differentiate between conditions with overlapping symptoms
- Provide information to assist other treating health professionals
Assessment measures
Where clinically appropriate, we use well-established, evidence-based tools — including measures such as the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), Conners ADHD assessments, and other standardised measures relevant to your concerns. Measures are only one component and are interpreted alongside clinical interviews, developmental history, and functional impairment.
What to expect
- An initial interview to understand your history and what you want the assessment to answer
- Validated, evidence-based measures chosen for your situation
- One or more appointments, conducted via secure Telehealth, depending on the referral question and complexity
- A feedback session to talk through what the results mean, with a written report where appropriate
Fees
Assessment fees vary depending on the referral question, the measures required, and whether a written report is requested. A personalised quotation is provided before the assessment process begins. See Fees & Rebates for more information.
